Notes

Newcastle disease vaccines are sometimes given to village chickens on food. This approach may also be possible for commercial chickens. Commercial avian infectious encephalomyelitis vaccine produces a serological response when given on food. An experimental avian adenovirus vaccine also produced a serological response when given on food. Avian adenoviruses are candidates for genetically engineered chicken vaccines. Infectious laryngotracheitis vaccine did not infect when given on good.
