This mongraph is the proceedings of a workshop held in Kualar Lumpar in 1987. The mongraph contains 27papers divided between 4 chapters whose topics are:

There is also a list of participants and a section listing the references sited throughout the monograph. This workshop summarised the early research on thermostable vaccines for Newcastle disease undertaken in Malaysia and Australia with sponsorship from ACIAR. Delegates from various Asian countries described the local situations with village chickens. Some became involved in the ensueing ACIAR projects.
