Notes |
Swaziland, a land-locked country bordered by South Africa and Mozambique, has a population that is largely rural-based. Newcastle disease is endemic in the population of rural chickens. Control of Newcastle disease is attempted by education, improved management and vaccination with both live vaccines and oil-adjuvanated killed vaccines. |
